A map is a symbolic depiction emphasizing relationships between elements of some space, such as objects, regions, or themes.

Many maps are static, fixed to paper or some other durable medium, while others are dynamic or interactive. Maps may represent any space, without regard to context or scale.

At Blue Wave Sourcing we aim at mapping the relationships between the elements of the “banking business” space. And once a map of that space is drawn, we cut it in several pieces, replacing some of them with new ones, better representations of the same space, having in mind to obtain an improved map, more precise, clear and adherent to the needs of that business space.

For this reason, when Filippo Piantanida, photographer and web designer, proposed for our website home page a dynamic satellite map, we immediately adhered to his idea.

His works on Maps are now shown at Galleria Ghiggini in Varese until April 16th, and well represented in the catalogue of the exhibition.
