Using our methodology, we have provided the bank with an easy-to-use list of measures that will allow the bank to reduce its operational risks in the area of IT infrastructure management, Application maintenance, project management and internal controls devoted to monitor the outsourced services. We helped also the bank in re-writing their Service level agreements with third parties and we co-operated in the management of the key projects.
The goal of the bank was to have:
A list of actions and proposals to be used to push the service providers to review service offer and service costs,
Optimization proposals, if any, aimed at resizing the internal FTEs through the elimination of redundancies in process tasks,
Recommendations, if any, on how to better manage Head Services, in the respect of local regulations,
Advice in designing its project portfolio, vis à vis of a new IT strategy to execute,
Support in the enrichment of their set of managerial controls with new IT controls, needed to cover the insourced application management processes,
A light audit on the current IT architecture in comparison to their business development ambitions, and proposals to improve the effectiveness through changes to the application landscape, where needed,
A review of their most critical and high priority projects, identifying and putting in place measures to recover the issues detected.
