In continuity with the advice in the feasibility study and business and operating model design performed in 2021, the mandate received focused on the implementation phase of the “New Swiss Private Bank” project.
After selecting the core platform and the Vendor / Outsourcer, the tasks performed by BWS have been in the domain of the implementation of a standard IT Banking Platform in full outsourcing and in the processes design and Vendor contractual provisions fine tuning.
The goal of BWS's intervention was to support the future bank in carrying out the activities related to the implementation of the selected Core platform, made of IT applications and functionalities to be parameterized, and the definition of the outsourced business service level agreements and processes, to be designed in detail and set up.
The contents of the mandate were divided into four levels of support:
• Solution design,
• Build and test management,
• Bank processes and outsourced services design (SaaS – Software as a Service and BPaaS – Business Processes as a Service),
• Release into a productive environment.
BWS has supported the bank management in the whole implementation journey, providing advice when designing the solution, leading workshops with users, designing test cases and complementing trainers during the training sessions.
Joining the project management team, we have assisted the client in the decision-making process, leveraging on our long lasting experience in similar projects.
Our deep knowledge of BPO agreements and our experience built through direct involvement in negotiations with Outsourcers has been helpful in providing contribution to the most appropriate services set up and SLAs design.
The platform set up has been completed as per initial plans, without any relevant issue.
